M20:Victorian Age provides advice and material for running your Mage: The Ascension 20th Anniversary Edition chronicles amid the tumult of the Victorian era, as the Order of Reason rises to power and the Traditions falter.
Within this book you will also find a details of the state of the great magickal powers in this era: the Order of Reason, preparing for their metamorphosis into the Technocratic Union and riding upon the great beast of Empire; the Council of Nine, now merely eight, caught in infighting and looking for a new peer; and the Crafts, the manifold practices of magick across the world, who fight to save their peoples from conquest and exploitation.
In addition, Victorian Mage includes an examination of life as a magus in the stratified society of Imperial Britain and the wider empire; rules reflecting the difference in how magick works during this age, when the Consensus of the Technocracy has yet to enfold the globe; and a gazetteer of the Victorian world, touching on cultures and conflicts across the globe as empires struggle for dominance and the masses struggle simply to survive.

Hey there, Ghostkickers!
Welcome to the first update of 2021.
As I mentioned in last month's update, I'll be sending out a Status Check-in at the end of every month, just to keep communication constant and consistent and keep everyone on the same page.
Startin' 2021 the same way I finished 2020, but hoping for a much better year!
We're still in the earliest stages of this post-campaign, where projects make incremental movements along the progress path. A lot of months will be pretty similar, just a quick note to let you know that the Onyx Path team is still working on it. Any time we have a new reward or something of interest to share, I'll include that as well.

2020 Year End Update

Hello Ghostkickers!
I know that I just sent an update last week and said I'd be back in touch at the end of the month, but I'm going to send this out a bit early to hopefully avoid any more 2020 challenges.
This is actually the second time I'm typing up this Update - I just about had it finished and then my computer crashed, wiping it all out. A good reminder to save your work in progress. Ugh.
So, let's call this a special Year End update, and we'll start our more regular schedule with month end updates in January 2021.
I was happy only 2 minutes ago. It was a really good update. This will be a muddy half-remembered ramble full of typos, I'm sure.
Near the end of each month, I will be sending out an update, with status notes on our main project as well as the Stretch Goal project we added. As noted in previous updates, these projects take a long time to put together. You've seen the kickstarter manuscript preview, but there are still many moving pieces and puzzles to solve in turning this into an awesome book. These month-end updates ensure that communication is constant and consistent, and that we're all on the same page with regards to where we stand.

Well, despite testing the redemption codes prior to transmission, 2020 struck quickly and created errors and issues with those redemption codes. Thanks to everyone who let me know and helped troubleshoot.
I am ready to -cautiously- say that the issues have been corrected, and anyone set to receive these rewards should now be able to use those codes to add the title to your digital library at DriveThruRPG at no cost. The links will not transmit again (it's the same code, just working now), so you'll have to access your BackerKit account if you need the code again.

ONYX PATH ON KICKSTARTER IN 2020
To say this year was challenging would be an understatement. Despite difficult, uncertainty, and demanding situations, the Onyx Path team continued to work on the great projects that have made us fans. It wasn't easy - schedules shifted, delays managed, and difficulties dealt with - but here we are at the end of 2020 with some victories to show!
Kickstarter continues to be an important part of the process for Onyx Path, and looking at the long list of projects in the works on the Monday Meeting Notes blog, it certainly looks like that’ll continue to be the case in 2021.
Rather than just take pre-order for an upcoming project, Kickstarter has allowed Onyx Path to gauge interest in game lines (to see if they should develop additional projects beyond those offered during the campaign), and sometimes even add additional projects to a game line immediately via Stretch Goal achievements. More importantly, it’s a chance to interact with the community and for everyone to get involved from the earliest stages.
Looking at 2020, Onyx Path had 7 Kickstarter campaigns funded, with one more currently on the go!
And, though the campaign still has a few hours to go, the recent DeadMan's Rust mega-adventure and setting supplement for ScarredLands 5th Edition has funded, which means it will get added to the list soon!

It's been just over two weeks since we launched out BackerKit Post-Campaign Pledge Manager, and most of you have visited, set up your Add On rewards, and confirmed your reward selections. With that information, I've been able to set up and start allocation on some of our existing rewards (i.e., the 20thAnniversary PDFs and the "World of Mortals" PDF trilogy).

DIGITAL REWARD DISTRIBUTION
Many of the rewards for our kickstarter projects take a lot of time and effort to complete. Usually, the kickstarter is a means of moving the project from an idea (even when it's a mostly-fully-written idea) into the actual channel that turns it into a project/product. It'll be a while before we're ready to talk about delivery on WorldofDarkness: Ghost Hunters, and even longer for our projects generated via Stretch Goals (ParanormalInvestigator's Toolkit, Hunting Monsters, Necromancers & Mediums, The Jumpstart).
That said, there are a few rewards that are available now, as they were mostly add-on PDFs of existing products. And now, we can work on getting those out to you during the week.

You're invited!
You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey invitation link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!
After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts, and that won't happen until the books are printed and we're preparing to ship.

If there are any issues you find with the Pledge Manager, please contact me as soon as possible to let me know. It rolls out in waves so that I can correct issues on the fly and make it work as best possible as people come on board.

Within the BackerKit Survey and Pledge Manager, you can:

I checked out the page from a fellow Canadian to see how it appeared. Make sure you set your shipping to the correct location if you're getting the hardcover book!
From the BackerKit welcome page you can choose to
1 -Review Your Pledge Level and Rewards
2 - Switch Your Pledge Level
3 - Start Your Survey, confirming pledge rewards, selecting Add On options, and confirming any shipping and payment info that may be needed
If you select option 1, your Pledge Level, you will see a list of all items included in your Pledge Rewards, and also have the option to upgrade your Pledge Level, in case you've decided to get the hardcover instead of just the PDF, or want to choose a multiple copy reward.
Selecting the Pledge Level reveals the Pledge Reward List and other details.
Once you've confirmed that your Pledge Level is correct and where you want it to be, you can GETSTARTED with your BackerKit Pledge Manager Survey.
Once we've got a fair response to our survey and collected a reasonable amount of info, I'll be working on fulfilling rewards that are available now - like the PDFs of the titles included in our Add On section (the20th Anniversary PDFs and the "World of Mortals" PDF Bundle, for example).
