Final Update - Final Reward

Hello Ghostkickers,
And like that, we come to the end. I've got one final small reward to send out alongside this update, and with that our campaign will be completed.
Remember that Stretch Goal? Yeah, it may be fuzzy - it's been about 20 months since the campaign ended back on Halloween of 2020. The world has been through quite a ride during that time, but the Onyx Path crew has managed to work through all of the projects launched during this campaign, and I've now got the Digital Wallpaper ready to go out to backers.

HARDCOVER REWARD TRACKING
If you were set to receive a hardcover copy of WoD:Ghost Hunters as a kickstarter reward, your book has shipped and probably delivered by now. If you haven't received it yet, please check your tracking and confirm that it's still en route. Sometimes I'll hear from backers that had no idea the book was being held at a local post office or had delivered to their next door neighbor. The courier and delivery companies keep tracking information for about 6 months, so if you've got any issues, please let me know as soon as possible so we can sort them out. See Contacting James below. By, let's say, August we may not have access to full tracking information. At that point, I'm going to assume that everything went fine, so if you have an issue please contact me as soon as possible.
With all rewards distributed, I will be leaving the BackerKit pledge manager active for another 4 months - until Halloween 2022, in fact. You'll be able to access your digital reward redemption codes from your BackerKit page up until that date. Once you redeem your digital rewards, they will continue to be available in your DriveThruRPG library, so this should only concern those who haven't yet clicked their links for any rewards to be received.

Shipping Update

Hello Ghostkickers,
In the last month update I said that I expected shipping to start in early May... but it turns out it's gonna be early April! Shipping has started for World of Darkness: Ghost Hunters, and will continue over the next few weeks.
GHOST HUNTERS SHIPPING INFO
All orders for the hardcover book that were confirmed by Jan 27, paid for by Feb 23, and had delivery destinations confirmed by March 2 are now been picked, packed, and will shipped out over the month of April.
TRACKING INFORMATION
The first step in the order prep process is to print out an address label and a pick slip - these two items are linked together so the warehouse knows what to ship and where it's being shipped to. This means that a tracking number will be assigned to your order BEFORE it gets shipped from the warehouse, possibly even a week or two before your items are boxed up and scheduled to be picked up by the courier partner.
So, for the first week or two in April, you may see a note that the shipping label is "created, but not yet in system" - which just means that the warehouse is currently in the process of putting the orders together. You'll be able to see when your order is indeed shipped, and track it's progress as it travels to you.
Normally, US backers would start seeing deliveries a week or two after the orders have left the warehouse, but the strain on delivery infrastructure during this pandemic has a cascading effect that's just slowing all processes down. That's also affecting tracking updates - but, I'm told, information should catch up as packages move through the system.
Once the bulk of the orders have left the warehouse, you will (*should*) get an e-mail with Tracking Information.
Your tracking information may take a few days to update at any given time, so you may see "Pre-Shipment" as it filters out to the various shipping agencies, but it should update as it travels and eventually delivers to you.
Again: You'll have your tracking numbers sent via the e-mail provided to Backerkit, and shortly thereafter, you will also be able to access your Tracking number in Backerkit by reviewing your Order Confirmation.
The Ghost Hunters page should look similar to this.
Your BackerKit Confirmation page has:
The TRACKING NUMBER for your shipment (once it's been uploaded)
Your confirmed shipping address
A link to your digital redemption codes
A link back to the Community page

As noted in this update, it may take a week or two in April before your orders goes out, and up to 48 hours for Tracking Information to update as it leaves the warehouse. That said, tracking your packages - especially for international orders - can provide great assistance in solving minor issues before they become major issues.
International Shipping costs continue to climb - that's an understatement - and every sign points to additional costs coming throughout 2022, so it's pretty important that we avoid any re-ships or additional shipping charges as much as possible. And that's where your help can really come in handy.
I've dealt with several situations where shipments were marked as "delivered" but the backer hadn't checked the tracking information for months, unaware that the package had been sitting at a neighbor's house or stuck in a local postal facility.
So, please, check your tracking number over the next few weeks. If you haven't received your package by, let's say May 7, review the tracking number to see where the issue might be.
Again, it may take a few days for any status updates to appear, and depending on the country and carrier, each package may enjoy a different transit time. But if we're into May, let's see if we can sort out any delivery issues while everything's still fresh.
For example, if Package status indicates it was delivered but you never received it
Double-check your Backerkit CONFIRMATION PAGE (as detailed above) that the correct address was provided, and maybe check with your neighbors to make sure it wasn’t accidentally left there. If that doesn’t turn up anything, contact the carrier or your local post office to report the package as not received and please contact me using the Contact Creator button on kickstarter to let me know you didn’t get your order.
I've seen so many orders sitting in a local post office for 8 weeks while the recipient was left unaware that it was waiting. Additionally, other backers have solved issues almost immediately with a quick call to FedEx and providing their tracking number.
It's a HUGE help to me and Onyx Path if we can solve any wayward shipment or stuck orders in April, rather than waiting until the summer when shipping systems finally give up delivery attempts and return the items to our fulfillment partner (at an extra cost to Onyx Path). Let's avoid paying for multiple return shipments if we can! Thanks for your help in advance.
Also, if you have any issues with your shipment or books, do not panic! As we've all done for the past few years, we will get through this. It may take a bit to sort, but I'll do my best to make sure everyone gets their rewards.
After printing and manufacturing delays that shifted the 2021 schedule around a lot, Onyx Path is in the process of catching up on 6 projects, and making great progress. In the end, Onyx Path's fulfillment partners at Studio 2 will have shipped 6 campaigns in about 8 weeks, which is a month faster than I'd projected, and I'm very excited to have all of that taken care of.
If you have any issues with your delivery, let me know and let's see if we can sort out solutions before they become bigger problems. Otherwise, check your tracking, check your mail, and check out the cool new Ghost Hunters book that'll be in your hands soon!

March 2022 Update

Hello Ghostkickers,
In last month's update, I outlined our lockdown dates and mentioned that I expected the book to deliver several months before our initially-projected December 2022 date. Well, we're getting closer...
I expect the hardcover rewards for this campaign to start being processed near the end of April and for shipments to go out in early May. I'm thinking that April's month end update will be all about tracking numbers and delivery of those hardcover rewards, so we have something excellent to look forward to in my next update (and, if things go early, I'll update before the end of April, no worries!)

Again, these rewards are all currently at the warehouse of our fulfillment partner, Studio 2. There's one project to finish up first - M20 Technocracy Reloaded - and then they're on to Ghost Hunters! I will be in touch next month with tracking information for these shipments.
There's bits and pieces left - Paranormal Investigator's Handbook will be updated and finalized with developers taking direction based on the feedback you've provided. We've got a ton of books in the warehouse to go out, and one final Stretch Goal reward, which should come pretty quickly once the other projects are off people's plates. Overall, we're really, really close to finishing this one off!
Of course, I'll keep updating until that final reward goes out and everything's finished, but it's a great feeling when the rollercoaster is getting ready to go back to the starting area!

Hello Ghostkickers,
As detailed in our most recent Month End Update, we're still a bit away from having the final hardcover rewards shipped out. There's a few pieces yet to deliver to the fulfillment house (though everything's en route), but the shipping backlog caused by the delays from 2021 have got all of the warehouse staff pushing hard to catch up.
Since our update, we've processed most of the outstanding BackerKit payments and locked in shipping information (it took me a couple tries to get it all secured!), so we'll be ready to go once everything lines up. My guess right now is that our books will be going out around the end of April and through May, but I'll update more as that schedule firms up.
Basically, there's no change since our last update and everything's still on track to deliver much, much earlier than our campaign projected date of December 2022.
BUT ENOUGH ABOUT ALL OF THAT, LET'S TALK ABOUT ANOTHER REWARD!
During the campaign, we had a series of Stretch Goals that added supplemental material to cover some additional topics related to our Ghost Hunters book.

A bestiary of monsters, cryptids, and supernatural threats, to add to your World of Darkness games.
A selection of new orders and societies to which your characters might belong, or whom they might oppose.

This is the first version of Paranormal Investigator’s Handbook to be released. The design and development teams have done their best to proofread and correct any errors and typos - but some always sneak through. If you catch any typos, incorrect math, visual glitches, and the like, we want to hear about them and correct them before we send the book off to print.
