Hello Ghostkickers,
We're approaching the end of the month, so it's time for our regular month end update. Since it's the shortest month of the year, I'll try and keep the update short as well... though there's a lot of info still to go over.
Last year saw a lot of massive shifts in Onyx Path's project plans, with their print plan delayed by up to 13 months on some projects. The good news for Ghost Hunters backers is that they've been able to slot in this book as part of the catch up offset print run, and the book will be likely deliver several months before the December 2022 date originally projected on the Kickstarter page!
(As an aside, <THIS SUMMARY> from Extra Credits gives a great overview of the issues that everyone's been dealing with. It primarily focuses on board game publishers, but the situation spills out across all industries and also carries through to affect distribution and retail as well. As a bonus, the script was written by Onyx Path's own Eddy Webb!)

So, a big thing to note: The three Stretch Goal supplements - Paranormal Investigator's Toolkit, Hunting Monsters, and Necromancers & Mediums - have now all been folded into one release currently titled the Paranormal Investigator's Handbook. Even more awesome thing to note - this project is currently in the Editing phase, so moving along nicely!
As noted, it'll still be a bit of time before our hardcover kickstarter books ship - Onyx Path has six projects finally back on the schedule and it's gonna take about 3 months to deliver everything - but I'm expecting Ghost Hunters to deliver to you within that window. We'll lock down delivery information in March, and I'll share more information in the March update.
ONYX PATH PROJECT TRACKING
Rich has modified the way he's running the Project Tracking this year. At the end of each month, Onyx Path will be posting an update showing the current status of all of their projects and where each sits on the project tracking chart. In the weekly Monday Meeting Notes blogs, Rich will note any projects that have changed status, sometimes with developer notes, since the big monthly summary.
I will continue to post an update each month until those final Stretch Goal rewards have gone out.

Second update for the year, but the first *month end* summary update, so let's get going! I'm starting to tweak the format of these updates a bit, at least included links and a bit more info where I can.
This one won't be as exciting as our update earlier this month, since that one started our lockdown process so you've already got all of the big news. I'm mostly going to list our rewards in a slightly modified format and review where we're sitting in our lockdown process. So let's jump in!

Hello Ghostkickers,
Last year, all printing operations ended up paused due to pandemic- and infrastructure-related issues. Onyx Path had submitted files to their printer nearly a year ago, only to be told that everything would be delayed until early 2022.
The good news, now, is that we're *in* early 2022 ... and things are starting to print again!
Which means it's time to lock our traytables into their upright position, fasten seatbelts, and get ready to bring our main reward in for a landing.
That's Kickstarter Concierge speak for beginning the lockdown process. Since Onyx Path has SIX projects currently printing and preparing for delivery, there are going to be a few of these locking down at the same time. I don't know exactly when each will be shipping out, but want to get everything ready so we can act as soon as the opportunity presents itself.

Quick note on schedules and timelines
I don't have to say too much here, do I? I'm moving forward with a lot of assumptions that things will work out as planned, but we've learned that unexpected complications are lurking around every corner. I'll keep in touch with Onyx Path as best possible and we can adjust these dates as/if needed. Still, I'm hopeful that our patience and perseverance will be rewarded and we'll have our books in hand at some point in the near future.
For now, just review your BackerKit order list and ensure that it's got everything you want. I'll send out the 48 Hour Notices as mentioned. Also, I'm here to help. If there are any issues, get in touch and I'll sort everything as best I can.
There's a lot going on - SIX PROJECTS - all happening around the same time, so there will be lots of moving parts and potential issues. I don't know exactly how long it'll take to ship things out or what will go first. But I'll work with our fulfillment partners to get everything out as quickly as manageable. The delivery side of this may be an ongoing project, but we'll get there! Don't worry - we'll have lots of opportunities to make sure we're set up for success as long as the external factors all cooperate.

It goes without saying, if you are only receiving digital items (PDFs), we won't need to confirm a shipping address. In fact, the survey shouldn't ask you for one.
Similarly, if you haven't purchased any Add Ons in BackerKit or pre-ordered any items, or need to correct payment information that didn't work in Kickstarter, you won't have any amount owing and won't need to include any payment information.

BACKER PDF VERSION
This is the first version of The Longest Night - A World of Darkness: Ghost Hunters Jumpstart to be released. We've sent you these initial Advance PDFs for three reasons:
1) Who wants to wait?! These projects can take a long time to turn into final releases - you know that - and the Onyx Path team wants to get them into your hands as quickly as possible!
2) To thank you for your support! This project, literally, is a direct result of your support during the Kickstarter campaign. You deserve to see it before anyone else!
3) To make the final version the best it can be! The design and development teams have done their best to proofread and correct any errors and typos - but some always sneak through. If you catch any typos, incorrect math, visual glitches, and the like, we want to hear about them and correct them before we send the book off to print.
With that in mind, I'd like to introduce the LongestNightFeedback Form!
Generally, Onxy Path tries to keep errata collection open for the next 2 weeks, so please report what you can as soon as possible to make sure they're getting everything covered.
They won't be collecting errata from other spots, just this specific form. Please note this form will be for errata only. It won't be for general book discussion - you can do that in a different thread, or on the Kickstarter comments page.
Also, they already know about any Page XX notations - those are usually corrected after any changes are made and the books are being finalized.
