The deluxe hardcovers are currently slated to be printed in 2022, as projected back during our kickstarter campaign, and will be shipped out to you as soon as they are available.
DIFFERENCES IN PoD FORMATS
So, for those backers who pledged at the Poltergeist reward tier, or those backers who will later be receiving the hardcover book but might be looking for a second copy for the table, there are two different versions of Print-On-Demand options available.
Standard Color uses a thick 70# white paper which has better page opacity. (that's "70 pound" for reference, but does not mean each page weighs 70 lbs!). Standard Heavyweight Color uses inkjet technology. (These are not the same inkjet printers you have at home - these are often as big or bigger than a car!) This option offers lower cost but the colors won't be as sharp or bright as a Premium Color book.
Premium Color uses the same 70# paper, but uses "Digital Color Print Engine Technology," which sounds super fancy, but I'll admit to not knowing the exact difference. This option offers superior color quality but is more expensive to produce, and has gotten even more expensive over the past year.
(Remember to login to DriveThruRPG prior to clicking or pasting the discount link in your BackerKit digital rewards locker, if you that was part of your rewards list! That link is your coupon and must be usedfor your PoD order.)

August 2021 Update - Backer PDF Distribution!!

If you go back to our Kickstarter campaign page, you'll note that we had projected a May 2022 delivery date for the WoD: Ghost Hunters Backer PDF.
Well, I'm happy to say that we're going to be a little early on this one... because the Backer PDF is ready for distribution now!
Ready to delivery early!
Over the past 18 months, dealing with the pandemic and the scheduling and logistical hurdles has proven to be an ongoing multi-part challenge, and getting books printed and shipped on time has been difficult. That's mostly to external factors in dealing with manufacturing and distribution changes.
However, in terms of the digital side, Onyx Path has done a pretty great job, often getting PDFs out before the estimated delivery date listed on the kickstarter campaigns. And, I'm very happy to say, that streak has continued with this project!
As noted, I'm happy to announce that we've got your backer PDFs ready to go several months early!
World of Darkness: Ghost Hunters Backer PDF
Ghost Hunters includes:
A broad, deep history of ghost hunter cells, and catalogue of weapons and artifacts ghost hunters might use in the World of Darkness.
Playable options among the hunters that fight with bullets and blades, and those who fight with belief and supernatural power. Alongside them, those hunters who would track, cage, and study the dead.
A wide array of story hooks and rich storytelling advice for those who wish to run a game of Ghost Hunters set alongside any of the World of Darkness games.
An appendix containing a selection of antagonists your ghost hunters may come to face.
Of course, I'm listing all of that knowing that you're already familiar with book! It's never not fun to have a summary, though! And, it's a good moment to catch our breath as we head into reward distribution info!

BACKER PDF VERSION
This is the first version of Ghost Hunters to be released. We've sent you these initial Backer PDFs for three reasons:
1) Who wants to wait?! These projects can take a long time to turn into final releases - you know that - and the Onyx Path team wants to get them into your hands as quickly as possible!
2) To thank you for your support! This project, literally, is a direct result of your support during the Kickstarter campaign. You deserve to see it before anyone else!
3) To make the final version the best it can be! The design and development teams have done their best to proofread and correct any errors and typos - but some always sneak through. If you catch any typos, incorrect math, visual glitches, and the like, we want to hear about them and correct them before we send the book off to print.
With that in mind, I'd like to introduce the Ghost HuntersFeedback Form!
Andplease review your Backer Name listed in the book and note any changes or corrections using this form!
Generally, they try to keep errata collection open for the next 2 weeks, although it may be accessible a little bit longer due to the chaotic nature of the world we're in now. Still, please report what you can as soon as possible to make sure we're getting everything covered.
They won't be collecting errata from other spots, just this specific form.
After any needed corrections are made (based on your feedback!), we will prepare an updated final PDF version of the book and you will receive a notice from DrivethruRPG that you can re-download your file with the latest version.
You've already made the book a reality with your Kickstarter support. Now you can make it even better by helping us crowdsource any minor errors and corrections.
